It’s so easy to take life for granted, to become so focused on our struggles and trials that we forget how lucky we are just to be here, to be alive.  I’ve been through hell, I’ve been a homeless and hopeless heroin addict.  I was in prison at age 22 and didn’t get out until I was 31.  During that time I was in both state and federal maximum security prisons, I was depressed and suicidal, I couldn’t bare the thought of being in prison for so long.  But one day I decided to change my future, to change my path, I made the decision to live life on my terms and not be a victim of my past or my current circumstances.  I would choose my own destiny and my own fate.  What are you struggling with?  What’s holding you back from living the life you want, being the person you want to be?

Addiction

“Too often times in life, kids don’t realize what the consequences of their actions can be.  Just having fun turns into habits, which then becomes a complete lifestyle”

Depression

“I hated myself, it seemed like nothing ever went right and I was always saying or doing the wrong thing”
